OUR PLAN
Our mission is to empower and unite Accies fans by giving them a voice in the club we all love
Our vision is to be an organised, transparent and financially responsible supporters’ body
Our investment goal is to raise sufficient resources to rebuild the youth academy of our club
Representation
It is vital that Accies fans are represented on the club’s board, which is why we are committed to securing at least one seat on the board to ensure fans’ interests are represented in decision-making.
We also want to pursue the acquisition a Golden/Heritage Share which grants veto powers over critical heritage matters, such as changes to the club’s name, badge, colours and, of course, stadium location.
There must be a formal relationship between the club and the ASA to ensure both parties are working collaboratively towards shared goals to strengthen communication, transparency and cooperation while clearly defining roles and responsibilities.
Fundraising
There are three main purposes for the ASA to raise funds:
- To bridge the gap between supporters and the club
- To provide opportunities for fans
- And to create memories beyond the matchday experience
We believe that having funds will give us credence with whoever is running our club, but we also believe that means of doing so can provide tangible experiences for fans while doing so and, hopefully, improving their experiences as fans.
The money raised will help with operating costs such as email marketing software, but we also have other ideas for how your money can help go back into the wellbeing of fans, such as:
- Re-establishment of Youth Academy
- Travel costs
- Player sponsorship
- Shares in club
- Accies Family Fund
It is also important to stress that this will never be decided by any one person. This is an association of supporters, therefore the money’s use will be dictated by those supporters.
