SFA Statement
For any supporter unaware the SFA have today issued a statement today in relation to Club Owner Seref Zengin and sole director Gerry Strain. Like every supporter we are deeply concerned about the future of our club.
Dialogue with Club
Over the weekend we sent a number of emails requesting an update on when the response to the open letter we had sent the club would be published. This dialogue then led to an offer from Gerry to meet a Supporters Association committee member this evening before the game v Rangers B. In light of the SFA Statement and uncertainty over how we could share the information provided at the meeting it has been cancelled pending further information from the club.
We wish to clarify we were not part of any rumoured meetings with the club over the weekend. The club have not confirmed which fans they spoke to and how they were selected or what information was divulged.
Email to the SFA/SPFL
This afternoon we have written to the SFA and SPFL seeking clarity on the status of the club and what they are doing to ensure the survival of our club as well as asking what more we as supporters can do in this situation.
Emergency Supporters Meeting
We wish to hold an online emergency supporters meeting tomorrow at 7pm (12th November) at 7pm. Details on how to join will be shared tomorrow but likely to be on the Teams platform. We invite ALL supporters of the club to this. You do not need to be a member of the association to attend. The meeting is aimed to focus on the survival of our club. The meeting will initially look at an up-to-date position of the club and then open up to suggestions/ideas on next steps including possible fundraising needed to save the club.
